In North Carolina, everything is beautiful
This was my first time visiting this state and I tell you that I was delighted. Nathalie & Josh invited me for their wedding and when they told me that their wedding would be in Vizcaya Villa – Outdoor Wedding Venue Fayetteville NC Weddings knew it would be a dream. Every detail of this place is beautiful and well taken care of. I want to share with you the story of these lovebirds and show you a summary of how special the day was for Nathalie & Josh.

How we met
Joshua and I knew of each other via social media and seeing each other at the check out line at Foodlion but it wasn’t until I moved back to North Carolina and started my junior year of high school that we met in person. I remember clear as day as I am standing in the cafeteria talking to some friends when Josh came up to me, hugged me and ran off. The look on my face was priceless because I couldn’t believe how the cute guy from Foodlion just hugged me. (You know how the high school giggly days were.) Later on that day he messaged me via Twitter with “text me some time new girlfriend” and asked me out on a date a few days later. Also to which is to no surprise to those around us that I was an hour late to our first date (talk about first impressions).
The proposal

For Nathalie’s birthday she wanted to go to Disney which fell during Halloween so we booked tickets to Disney’s “Not So Scary Halloween Party” with our friend Natalie and her daughter Eva. Nathalie made reservations at the “Be Our Guest” Restaurant and I remember us rushing to make it to the reservation on time in the crowded park. I just kept thinking what is she going to say when I pop the question the entire way there. After a few years of dating Nathalie, I felt as if it was time to commit to her and let her know how committed I was to her and our future. After dinner, Nathalie, Natalie, and Eva were headed to the Seven Dwarfs ride when I begin to urge Nathalie to go to Main Street and get a picture in front of the castle for my mom. After annoying her about it she caved in and we headed towards Main Street where I began to ponder how I was going to make the proposal happen. Once we got to Main Street in front of the castle I secretly told the photographer I was going to propose and I began to pop the question. I was so nervous I put the ring on the wrong hand. She did say yes after being speechless for a few minutes.
